Day 43: Poem: Love Poem : By Diana M Jordan ♥

I was told today it’s hard to write a poem about love

And I asked myself

Is that true

And how would I write a poem about the one my heart belongs to

Is it  so hard to express why my heart jumps when I hear His name

Or the fact that if He were to come

In front of my face

I would not have one word to say

Speaking of God’s glory

Gives me the butterflies

Because I know I am not worthy to speak my mind

And spit the verses of His love towards me

And spit the verses of His love for you

Why is it so easy to write about our broken hearts

But when they are filled and fixed

We cry out writer’s block

Because it’s easier to write about how we feel

When we want to feel something different

But what about now

When I know Gods grace is sufficient

I am happy now

I have peace now and joy

Because not only does my God love me so much He fills my heart with love to the rim

But to the over flow so I can pour out His love to His people one by one

Oh I’m not sure how to write a love Him poem

But if I did it would think it would have  sounded alot like this
