My chucks remind me
That even beautiful things get messy
My Chuck’s remind me it’s
God over everything
When I look at my feet
I see my message to me
That I was chosen for something
A purpose that is greater than my unbelief
Greater than my doubts or my uncertainties
It reminds me
That daily I must answer the call
And follow my God
And if I want to be first
I must serve as if I’m last
Even when I don’t understand
My Chuck’s are a reminder
That I am not perfect
But I was made perfectly
To weather any storm
That comes to me
I was built to last
If I stay grounded in faith
And don’t look back
But press forward in love
In mercy and truth
That there is a God
Who gave me everything I need
To accomplish
Every assignment and every dream
As long as I stay loyal to Him
And keep walking in His footsteps
Despite any failures , dirt or storms that may come
Just like My Chuck’s !
