My Post today is super short. Because I have been resting all day. I am back in my home base San Diego, California , born and mostly raised. After time spent in Arizona. The bus ride I took was long and bumpy but also a blessed experience .
I had a great driver and a seat to myself and I made it safely ! So I am grateful. I also met a new friend at the Greyhound in Arizona , so if I had never taken the bus I would not have met Him and He is a great guy from Kenya , been to all the 50 states …one of my traveling goals.
We talked about God , poetry and life as we both waited for about 5 hours to get on our bus. It was a great adventure. And I met some real cool people I spent time with family and the doggies and now back to the grind. But every body needs rest and that’s what I did today rested and prepared mentally and spiritually for the next journey !

Beloved, as a missionary I understand the need of wanting to take care of people and tasks and serve , and work work work. But if we don’t rest we are not going to always be able to give our very best. We must rest our bodies , souls and minds and rest in the presence of God daily . And so my prayer is that rest because a priority to you in life. So that you can be the very best you at all times ! 💙
