If you would have told me a year ago

That I would be where I am right now

I would have like Peter denied it three times

Saying no way would I have left that life

I would have told you I couldn’t see it

I wouldn’t have dared to believe it

I guess that’s why God

Didn’t tell me

Where I would be

He just always said beloved, follow me

He said through any valley , upon , every mountain, on every wave

Follow Him just the same

When I couldn’t see Him

Feel Him with my heart

Let His words show me the way

Let His spirit guide me every day

On His bread of life always be full

And to Him always be faithfull

And I thought a year ago on this very day

That things would be so different come this day

But  a walk with God is always full of surprises

It is always full of unknowns and windy yet narrow roads

It is always full of blindfolds

And letting Go

Because as He drops more and more promises into our hearts, and hands

We have to let God of anything blocking that

Anything we have picked up along the way

That wasn’t meant to in our temple have a place

So I stand here today

Completely amazed

I didn’t see this coming

I don’t see what else He has in store for me

But I know

He has the heart , the mind , the soul of me

He has my end as well as my beginning

And a year from now

I am excited to see

What other surprises He may have in store for me

If I just let go

And Let God Be

God
