Today was a big day for reflection. Over the last year. A year ago I was prayed over by my church and accepted the position as missions director .
After a long year of tough decisions and hard choices , and growing in discipline God showed me the way He wanted me to do ministry which was not being the director of missions at the church I was attending .
There is a difference between God calling and purposing you to do something and God allowing you to do something . Sometimes God will give us opportunities and sometimes He let’s us take opportunities, but we must be careful what we pray for . He may say yes, but that yes can come with a condition that prolongs His plans and His perfect promises.
The great thing about our God is He has already forgiven us and all we must do is turn back , as long as we are breathing we can turn back to Him . God also reminded me today that, He is in CONTROL of all things , if someone has betrayed me , hurt me , ignored , neglected, cheated or left me. He was there , He knew it would happen and I didn’t need them or what they took from me and God is all I need. The peace and joy He provides is available at all times.
So beloved whatever you may not have let go if anyone has hurt you ,I pray you can let it go and know God has something better for you for SHO!
And beloved I pray you look at your life and reflect what opportunities have you accepted from God and how many have you asked God to give you ?
How often have you let God just work in your life and not try and plan and predict everything ?
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen. I pray you trust God’s heart even when you can’t see His hands and make those hard decision even if no one will understand or support you ,God will give you the peace you need to make it through.
