Lord
Forgive me for distractions
For anyone and anything
I have picked up along the way
For all the times I jumped the gun
And thought I knew what your plan was
I’m sorry for listening
But not hearing you
For hearing you
But not obeying you
Obeying you
But not finding the joy in it
Seeing your commandments as a burden
Not a chain breaker, heart shaker
Peace maker
Yes God I repent for not seeing you
For not seeing with eternal eyes not temporary eyes
Lord , I am asking from deep inside
Kill my distractions
Starting with my mind
Kill the thoughts
That are the seeds to my distractions
And give me the strength
The courage , the desire to let all my distractions go
So I will walk in sin no more
