I woke up today physically sick but it was one of those moments that felt like God was telling me to stay in and stay put.
And so I did. I spent much of my day laying around and sleeping drinking throat tea and emergency. But then I opened my word and two verses in God spoke to me . He had been speaking to me though out the day through my mom and her husband and even more so with the scripture . I knew God had kept me home to be in the spirit of prayer and for a reason. God has been working on me for Uganda. Inwardly and outwardly .
I am grateful for our God that even when we don’t look for it He comforts us with His word. There are battles we face inside of us . And only God’s word can give us the victory we need.
No war on the outside of our bodies can compare to the war within us . It is not the demons outside people from suicide run from , it is the demons within . And that is why I am so hard with my Bible , that is why I pray hard and love hard and follow God hard.
Because it keeps me from the biggest enemy I have . The inner me. My prayer goes out tonight for those of us with our inward battles , those of us who feel different or wierd those of us that just don’t quite fit , and especially those of us who feel peculiar . Being normal is overrated. Let your light shine in the darkest of places , when you are bold in your purpose , and pressed for challenges that is when you need joy and peace the most. That is what they were made for . But they can only be found in one place , salvation . Believe me , I have been there , I grew up with several religions , I know religion won’t save you . But a relationship with God , with Jesus Christ with the Holy Father will save you . It saved me. And I would be a hypocrite, a selfish person, a liar and not of God if I didn’t wish you felt this love to . Not to change you , but transform you. Not condemn you but to purify you . This will not kill you it will bring you life. And it won’t box you in or keep you in chains it will free you from the prison of life mentally that so many of us at one point and so many still do reside. If you don’t know this love yet , I pray you do one day , if you know it I pray from it you never do stray , and if you are on the fence if you are wondering if this is true . I pray beloved in this lifetime you come to the truth . There is a God who loves you , He sent down His son to earth and he died for you . Will you accept His love tonight?
