I am not one to go back

I own up to the choices I made

Good or bad

Because I know even the bad God intended for good

I know even the bad

Taught me a lesson and helped me grow

Into a woman of faith

And I just could

Not turn back and change one thing

If it meant my whole  life would  change

If it would chance my salvation

If it could change my current peace

My constant joy

Doesn’t make sense to me

So I move forward constantly

I move forward consistently

Always praying for humility

And compassion and mercy

Because I do feel the pain

And I do feel the shame

I am human , and naturally want a place to place blame

And  I usually leave it with me

But that is why I get my strength from my Lordy

Who says do not be anxious

Who says all things will come together for good in the end

And though right now it looks like a mess

I know through the mess He sees perfection

In my mess, He is molding perfection

In your mess , He is molding your perfection

So don’t go back

Move forward

And if you keep your circle small and tight

Full of those who want to see you grow in life

But keep your heart open and willing

To love all peoples

Forgive all peoples

And forgive yourself always

Beloved

You will know this good life too

You will know you don’t need to change the past

To make the future the best for you

All you have to do is walk in the light

Fellowship in the light

Be love and light
