I often feel I’m not made this
At times I feel in adequate
Like this honor this pleasure belongs to another
But God
Whispers in my ear
Beloved
You were called for this
You’re chosen
But I’m not ready
To climb the mountains
To swing from clouds
To walk on rivers
To preach to crowds
To travel this whole  world
Perhaps alone
I’m not ready
But I’m willing
To do whatever my God inspires
To do whatever the Father requires
To let go if whatever the Spirit says Hinders
Me from being ready
To reject the nonsense from the enemy
To love all God’s people unconditionally
To forgive and forgive and repeat and repeat
To walk through fires
And stand firm in trials
And in storms shine bright
And in darkness be the light and smile
I’m willing Lord and I know
Your able Lord to make me
Ready
