This truth blessed my 💜 this morning so I pray it blessed yours too. 💜
There is a different between smart and wise. These days you can be smart (knowledgeable). Where your brain takes in all the information , and you know endless facts , and watch countless videos, and it stunts your spiritual growth , because Faith is the absence of facts. You become desensitized, because of the hate and violence and sex that is so readily available to you . You lose excitement because everything is at your fingertips, what is there to be excited for , what is there to be anticipated . Patience , is something not even the believers pray for because no one wants to wait , not even on God. (that’s another story ). But beloved what good is being smart if one is not wise , or hopeful , to make dreams come true you must believe that the facts can be improved (according to God’s will , glory and abundant grace).
But one that is wise , knows that your spirit gets fed through what enters your brain not just your body. A wise person is selective with what information they obtain, the sources they obtain it from. A wise person understands Faith is based solely on standing on one fact that no “man made facts” can change this truth JESUS died for our Salvation , We want the Holy Fathers will to be completed and that the Holy Spirit lives in us , and that hope that comes with completing His will which often times means performing miracles , and doing what smart people may claim to be impossible (based upon facts ). But to do the Father’s will we must love Him, which means to follow His commandments, and to read His word , and to become wise the Bible says ” wisdom is the principle thing therefore get wisdom and with all that wisdom , get understanding”. Facts and being smart can not influence and change this world, and compel others to see God how we do if we can’t understand how God wants us to use the knowledge we have along with the holy Spirit to be a change and light in this world. Wisdom knows that not everyone will understand all of this , not everyone will understand what love at all times mean , what turn the other cheek, what loving on your enemy means , what leaving ones home and family means, what storing up treasure in heaven not earth means , what giving to the poor means , what being just and fair means , what the power of prayer means (people see prayer as doing nothing , wise people know prayer is the most powerful weapon, along with joy to take out the enemy ) a wise person knows peace comes with a mind on Christ and can not be found in this world. Wisdom knows the world won’t understand what mercy and forgiveness is , a wise person understands grace and that we all have fallen from it. Wisdom is knowing that though we are not sinless we can definitely sin less , by intentionally, making wise and biblical decisions. Wisdom is knowing that walking in the flesh is walking according to your emotions but walking in your spirit is walking in faith and hope and love and assurance in God.
Being WISE doesn’t mean you speak your mind , it means you mind what you speak .
