Beloveds,

Today in spite of a terrible migraine I had bible study with some friends in the body of Christ tonight. It  was such a blessing to hear the testimonies of the Most High Gods beloveds and to share my own , for us to get to know one another and how we came to believe in Christ and trust in the Holy Father. It reminded me of a poem that I wrote just a week ago, a poem I wrote to the Father , about my walk with Him, it had been an amazing journey, I have lost a lot , somethings I wanted to lose , some things I didn’t , some people I didn’t want to lose, but I needed it. And now this next season God wants me to step it up in being EVEN more intentional about His word , and EVEN more faithfull to His word and the life He has called me to live and my purpose. I pray this poem below encourages you to write down your testimony and Praise the Most High for delivering you from your old self and making you a new creation .

I’ve tried to live the American dream

Big money expensive  degree

I tried to live like a minimalist

Only holding on to what I was needing

I tried to be religious

Thinking theology was the way to Jesus

Tried to be closed off

Tried to be friendly to everyone

I tried to be the best

I tried to be my worst

I tried to love myself

I tried hating myself

Nothing worked but then

You crawled into my heart

And opened up doors

I thought I nailed shut

But then you grabbed hold of my soul

Said never let go

But I did

Then I failed

Then I came back

And propelled

Then I did again

And i failed again

Came back again

But this time is different

I want to love you better

Determined to love you forever

Through the sun and the dark weather

So Most High God  take me

Every broken piece

The nonsense lingering

Clean me move me

Grow me

You know me

My inner most parts

Search them

And find

They want to be

Where ever you are

That’s where I want to be

Zealous heart

Wandering from this world

To your arms
