Let me set the record straight

I will never want something that isn’t mine

Desire to be with someone that isn’t mine

Don’t seek to lower others
To make it high
I don’t have pleasure in seeing my enemies cry
I’m not the type to try too hard
To win over someone’s heart
I don’t like commitment
But when I do , Im all in it
I’ve never been normal
It’s too overrated
I get excited when I am corrected
Because I know I’m not forsaken
I love my mama

But ima daddy’s girl
My Father in heaven , is the one I live for ,
So if you get offended
About this life that in living
If you feel some type of way
That I choose to cover my head when I pray and
When I eat
Ya Usually everywhere I go
And dress modestly

If you tripping that im not tripping on what Oprah got to say
Then I’m sorry you feel that way
But not sorry enough to change
But this I can offer
Is a prayer for ya
Stay sober
Watchful
Grow up
Grow in the Lord
Learn the truth
Stop living a lie
So one day you can set the record straight
and gain Eternal Life

And escape from temptation
And overcome of the sickness

Look ahead at Christ and be brave

Break me my Lord
Take me my Lord
This Life is yours
I want no say at all
I use my free will
To freely serve you
And I beg you ,
Not just pray for you
To break me Oh Lord
Let the sin out of me fall
So I can answer your call
Don’t want to hurt you no more
I want to please you my Lord
With all my heart mind and soul

I want nothing more to be broken by you
So I can be perfected by you
No other way will do
Christ is the way ,
the truth and the light
I will follow His example ,
With the rest of my life
Following your commands
Meditating on the law
Seeking your kingdom first

Faith
All these years I’ve walked by faith
Many obstacles have come in my way
Still I kept walking on the waves
And there were times I got stranded on an island
And while everyone is taking the boat to the dry land
On the waves I can see Paradise
It is not visible to the unbelieving eyes
So I’ll keep walking on these waves Lord
I look crazy on most days Lord
They’re chilling in their boats
Some would rather struggle with the life jacket
Then just stand up and face the wind
And place their trust in you and their feet
On these waves , above the trials and tribulations and doubt and confusion
And let their journey in you begin
But I will take upon your strength
Walk on in the light
And be brave
And on your word Ahayah , Christ
Will I keep my focused eyes
Until I have reached
Paradise

I would love to hear you say well done love

I pray you are glorified
And I am by your side
Left or right
Whatever stays in your light
What ever brings me to my knees
And gives me a chance
To cast my crown and do a praise dance

to worship you for ever
And sing loud you are worthy
Of all the honor and all the praise
You are the almighty
For ever and always
That is what I want
That is what I desire
To have a love and peace and joy that never expires
So I will worship you in this life

I am really trying
Really trying to love you
To love you
I can forgive you
I don’t really have a choice
Youre in my life for the long run
But sometimes I can’t forget
All the years of neglect
You want too much of me
You are always judging me
You won’t stay away from me
Can’t I have room to breathe
Oh, I want to love you
Believe in you , believe that Christ is in you that the Lord has called you
But you make it difficult
With your ultimatums
And your tantrums
And your temptations
I don’t mean to make you feel bad
Or like a burden
I can be too honest
This I am certain
And I know this
I am trying to love you

It hurts me
I spend so little time

Isn’t it funny
The ones you love the most
Are the ones that hurt you
the most
The same person who can bring out the best in you
Has the ability to bring out the worst too

That the person you want to be around
Often is the person , you grow complacent with
And act as if their love is a given
But what you fail to comprehend
Most people are seasons
Pain comes before growth
To be powerful we must be vulnerable
To be our best
We must be aware of what our worst is
To be aware of our worst
We must be imperfect
To be imperfect we must
have some idea what
Perfection is
So what is perfection
It is the love by the way of our redeemer
Christ
That even in His trials
And temptations
Never sinned against
The Most High God
He was so obedient
He left His throne
And died for us
Because of our lusts
Because of our transgressions
He was bruised and beaten for our sins
That , beloved is
Perfection
The same perfection
Is in the love of the
Holy Father in heaven who sacrificed
His perfect Son
To atone for the sins of the imperfect us

Perfect is the Holy spirit working in each and every one of us
That choose to die to ourselves daily, and take upon that cross
So that we in every season

Honestly if I’m with you
