Patience 💛 Are you a patient person ?(Faithfull Blog).

7/16/2021

🖤James 1:2-5 KJV — My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.🖤

Beloved, I finally was able to write a faithfull blog it’s been a while , a crazy hot and busy summer for us in southern cali. And I don’t know about you , but for most people I have observed , summers in San Diego each year , come with more heat and less patience.

I always felt some like my bestie are born with a plethora of patience. And then there are some like me , who have to pray for it , sometimes even fast for it and constantly work on it.

THEN the Most High revealed something to me not too long ago and I want to encourage us all.
That patience can come in different forms, for example, when a fool is in my presence, I have no patience, when people want to go back and forth over vain things I have no patience. When it comes to things in life that werent purposeful , in my perspective like parties and such , I didn’t waste time there. Or at school or work , when it came to finishing a task and waiting on others , not much patience (wasn’t very good with group projects). I used to just do all the work, so we would finish on time , and also so I know it was finished correctly. (Though I have grown to be more of a team player) now because we walk this walk of Christ together and are all part of the same body of Christ all of our roles are vital and important .
But when it comes to waiting on The Most High , whatever it takes and however long it takes me to get to where He needs me to be , there is no end to the patience that comes from Him. When it comes to teaching something like reading or writing or anything of the bible especially , I have all the patience for eternity . When it comes to helping someone in need , and they were/are physically slow or there is a language /cultural barrier , and they felt hindered, I have , patience because we all move at different paces and need someone to walk with us , long flights, long bumpy road trips in Africa to get to churches , or walking miles in the villages to get to the houses and be a light , there is no end to the patience , when trials come and surprises happen that require , solutions I dont tend to freak out , I examine the situation and then come up with solutions that often have to be creative in the moment . (I shared all of these not to talk about me , but in hopes others can relate , who have felt they weren’t patient in this life too).
I am so grateful to The Most High for revealing to me that those situations too required much patience, that I have had patience all along. We have patience for things we are passionate for. But the key in this life is to be passionate for the things in which Christ is and was passionate about. Which was and is the will of The Father in heaven.
When people were buying and selling in the temple , Christ flipped the tables , when Pharisees and scribes came at Him with foolishness He called them vipers and fools , but when the woman , who was in sin, was about to be stoned by men who were just as much in sin, He patiently kneeled down and took enough time to write, and then He saved the woman’s physical life and spiritual life that day. When Judas , who Christ knew would betray Him before He even called him into the ministry , still walked with him , Christ was patient , washed his feat dipped his bread in the same drink and even told him when to go to do his sin because it was needed for the ministry, BECAUSE beloved , trials and tribulations are needed to grow our patience and faith. For Christ was/is focused on the kingdom of heaven , not himself, He was/is patient in all seasons for all reasons working and talking and serving and ministering according to the spirit and the will of The Father in heaven, not His preference even now as He mediates for us . And that requires so much patience to wait on us especially when He can see so many of us choose flesh over and over again . For Christ , was/is passionate for The Most High , who could be more passionate than Christ? But He exercised self control, over His hands and His tongue and His thoughts for our sin starts with our thoughts on earth and even more in heaven . And I pray we do that as well. And place the will of The Father , the commandments and laws on our head and heart instead of our personal preferences.

For me, I pray for more patience with people , if I can have it in teaching , and in ministering then I can have it when it comes to conversations with people especially when there’s miscommunication and an occasional party that could lead to being a light for someone. AND any assignment The Most High gives me.🖤

How many of us can say if we knew someone would betray us we would keep walking with them ? Would we even be able to hear the direction of The holy spirit tell us to pour into them and love them ? Or would we only feel our flesh? The truth is the bible says to go out of the presence of a foolish person, but sometimes just sometimes, someone does a foolish thing but their heart has the ability to come back to Christ , like the prodigal son, and we must love everyone , and show compassion and mercy even to our enemies in all situations, for that is a commandment , not a suggestion according to the bible, so that when and if they do come back to the truth , they have someone they can return to, they have a light to lead the way to Christ in us . Let us grow in the passion for the gospel, the passion of Christ , the word of The Most High God. And let that be the reason we do what we do, but let not let it be an excuse to utter all of our mind. Let us with discernment be honest , be true , be gentle , be sharp and seek to encourage and build , and to only break down , in the spirit of Christ . This I pray faithfully with a smile 🖤 Have a blessed Faithfull Friday ! And please beloveds don’t forget to Enjoy your Sabbath ! It is not only a blessing but a commandment.

And check out the new poem/psalm posted , called “Utter”

Faithfully ,

Dayanah Ahmawanah 🖤
