People will always have opinions
That’s just life
You really can’t do much about it
Unless you want strife
Hold your tongue
The bible says that’s prudent
Easier said than done
When you’re in the
mist of the situation
For those who want to be wise
Meditate on the Precepts
Let the verses always
stay on your mind
A fool utters His mind
A fool walks according to His flesh
A fool thinks with His heart
His desires take precedent
But we don’t want to be like fools
Ahba we want to be like you
So I pray today
And everyday
We be the city with the walls
That can not fall
We hold our tongues
And with discernment we talk
In the spirit of Christ we walk
We don’t utter what’s on our mind
Unless we seek to build and glorify
So we can live a life in peace
Not a life in strife
For if we walk in the spirit
Even when we are persecuted
We will have the strength to endure
And smile with joy through it
We will be satisfied because we spoke in fervent faith
Knowing to honor
The Most High
Ahayah , our God
For always
Is our endgame
Let us always remember this
Before we Utter anything from our lips ,
And perform any works with our hands
