🖤Isaiah 58:13-14

[13]If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

[14]Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.🖤

Beloved, observing the sabbath, and pleasing The Most High on the sabbath goes beyond Leviticus and Deuteronomy but most don’t even get the wisdom there, to see the wisdom in this precept above. And I pray for us to always seek to please our Father in heaven with a pure heart with reverent fear because that is the only way we will get the knowledge to do so. My prayer tonight is for us to meditate on the scripture above, and accept the challenge to step it up each sabbath. To not just look forward to a “chill” day, or to follow what it says , out of just obligation , but to have cheer in not doing things of this world, even simple things like going to the movies or playing video games or whatever vice we have, so that we can connect on a more spiritual level with our Lord , and lean on Him, because it pleases us to  please Him, and the Sabbath pleases our Father in heaven so I pray it will please us too beloved, I pray it is enough to have fellowship food and faith on sabbath, I pray we sing psalms and hymns and spiritual  songs to the Lord and with eachother on this day, and that we lean not on our own understanding but the word (Christ) of the Most High  so we can be ready and filled to endure the next week as well, and complete The Most Highs will daily. Starting with delighting in the sabbath this evening. This I pray in Christ/Yashaya  name ahman 🖤
