I see you (poem) By Dayanah Ahmawanah ðŸ–¤

7/30/21

I see you 🖤

I  just wanted you to know
I see you
You may think
  no one notices
You may think
if you were to dissapear
you would go unnoticed
But you would be missed
Because I notice you ..
Slip into the back seat of the fellowship
And rush out before I can even sneak in a hug
I notice you sit alone at lunch
Thinking people don’t like you much
But I see you , and I like you
And it’s about time I told you
That I see your shine
I would like to see you smile …
More ,
and look worried less
I would like you  to
feel that joy fill in your chest
I would like to be your friend
Let me pray with you
Walk this life with you
Fellowship with you
And genuinely care for you
That is all I ask
Because I used to be
where you are
There was a day I used to be
The one I thought nobody did see
Until someone came to me
and admitted to me
I see you
And they walked with me
And prayed with me
And loved on me
Not out charity
But out of love that grows in our hearts and minds to be like Christ
That love in my  eyes now ,
too resides
So much I could not
Let  another day
pass by
Without speaking to you
And telling you
I see you

Sisters /Brothers praying we “see”eachother , and grow together 🖤
