It hit me like a ton of bricks It broke my heart into pieces To understand the love of the Father in heaven Isn’t just about forgiveness On His partIts about our change of heart Without it we are still dung And unworthy of His love Its not about Him accepting me Its about Him changing me I can come to Him As I am But I won’t stay as I am Because His love won’t let me be His love transforms me Rebukes me Chastises meHas expectations for me And for salvation to work in my life And His grace to be applied Our love has to me mutualI have to not just feel the love But let it show Walk in His love, and by faith Not by what I see And seek to please The Father in heaven As Christ did perfectlyOur minds Our hearts Our spirits Must agree Ahayah YashayaThe Holy Spirit And The BodyThat really pricks the heart of me Thinking of the love That died for me And all it asks of me is to do the same To my flesh Each and everydayAgain and againEnduring Until the end (Of this world)And the beginning of (Eternity)And I will choose to use my liberty In Christ To love Him not just Faithfully But cheerfully Eternally Ahman 🖤
