Proverbs 25:,28
[28]He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Psalm for the Temper By Dayanah Ahmawanah đź–¤

I feel defeated
Lost my temper
In my head
It keeps repeating
The words I said
That I meant
But still should not have said
The things I’ve done ,
I don’t regret
But still should not have done
Ahba in heaven,
I want to stand tall
Build my temple wide and strong
But I keep letting the enemy distract me as I am building
Don’t even have walls up
For them to fall
Because I’ve been dropping the ball
Help me rule my spirit
To not get offended
Slow to be defensive
Fast to show mercy
Wisdom , understanding
Show the love
I want to receive
A man who can not control His temper
A man that can not control His tongue
Is bound for trouble
And destruction
Let me learn to control my spirit
With the gift of the Holy spirit, because in you I am victorious
I know this
So precept upon precept
Law upon law ,
Christ as my rock and my foundation
My redeemer ,my salvation I will build my temple and control my temper
And let your word be the walls that surround me and be the substance that fills me
For Eternity
