Open rebuke is better than secret love ,
Don’t say you love me
But will watch me fall
You will watch me make a fool of myself in front of someone else
And will choose to say not a thing
Don’t say you love me,
And cause me to stumble
Don’t support me when I fumble
Don’t say you love me
If you can’t keep it real with me
You can’t hold me accountable
You see me operate in wickedness
And you feel comfortable
On the sidelines and have no conviction or intention
To with fear pull me from the fire
I don’t just need your compassion
I don’t just need your mercy
And forgiveness
I need a love that’s not afraid
To say what needs to be said
Regardless of how I feel
Knowing my Eternal Life is on the line
I need a sharp rebuke in the spirit
I need to a friend , willing to slay the demons with me and for me and I will love them just the same
Praying, eternally
Together we walk along the way
Faithfully, according to the
commandments,
With charity and meekness
