Dear Unbeliever
We are not the same
We dont want the same things
Don’t call on the same name
We dont have the same wisdom
We dont seek the same riches
I think its flattering to be prudent
You think its a compliment to be Savage
My advantage is this
I understand you
I’ve been where you are
And I wont ever go back
I seek The Most High
And through Christ now I understand
The importantance of the law
The benefits of the law
The truth of the law
Christ is the law
The law is our shield
Our light
It is what sets us apart in this spiritual fight
So dear Unbeliever,
We are not the same
We could never be
You live for today
I live for eternity
We dont walk in the same love
Don’t call on the same God
And because of this truth
Between me and you
All that i can do, is pray for you
And walk in humility
Because naturally you will hate me
Because you will not understand me
Naturally you will judge me
Because you dont agree
Righteously I will judge you
And this may offend you
Naturally I will contend with you
Because we don’t have the same values
And I can not be easily swayed
Because I walk by fervent faith
But from vain babblings I will turn away
And pray,
Because Unbeliever, I believe,
In The Most High God , that made you and me
I believe in Christ, who died to redeem me
And The Holy Spirit that will teach me in all things
And I believe, the best thing I can do
Is pray for you
Not with you
But for you
In hopes that one day
You’ll get to write to
An unbeliever
Too
