Psalm of Lumps By Dayanah Ahmawanah 🖤

Father

My heart’s been lumpy

Feeling a bit bumpy

Wanting the Holy Spirit

To dwell in me securely

Wanting Christ and His peace

To stay within me

Wanting you Father to be pleased

I come to you

Humbly

And ask for you to

Take my heart

And take out every lump

The ones that exist

And protect me from the ones to come

The pain

The shame

From my mistakes

From each offense

Please Father remove them

Remove my fleshly

Preferences

And replace them with your

Precepts

Let there be no more leaven in me

As I begin

This week of unleavened bread

Let there be no leaven left

No artificial preservatives

No added sugar

Let me not be processed

But only in you be purified

And perfected

For Father
