Matthew 5:9 KJV — Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

There is a war inside of me
Though inside the heart of me
There is peace
There is a war outside of me
Though inside the heart of me
There is peace
Righteousness will Always be
To the wicked an abomination
To the world
I will always be different
But I don’t have to be indifferent
Blessed are meek
Blessed are the merciful
Blessed are the peacemakers
Who choose not to be revengeful
But choose to pacify
Choose the path that leads to peace
Not the path that leads to being angry
Blessed are the peacemakers
For they shall be called your children
And your children are always blessed
Father, for peace comes from you
Peace can not be taken from us
except by you
Peace is a gift
Many seek it
And never find it
Because it can only be given
To those you call your children
