Psalm 6:8 KJV — Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

Depart from me
You workers of iniquity
You demons who on the daily
Tempt me
Taunt me
Whatever it takes to hinder me
My Lord has heard the voice
Of my weeping
My soul is His for the keeping
In His word I’ll be trusting
And His spirit stays teaching
When I cry out
She comforts me
For it is not easy
To walk that narrow way
With so many in the way
Falling to and fro
Like debris
Trying to stay straight
And also not be swept away
But sometimes
The vision is blurry
My spirit seems weary
I need to stand where I am
In a hurry
Call upon Christ
Call to The Most High
And ask for help
And ask for light
So I can have courage in the night
So I can have strength in this fight
So I can be brave
And say
Depart from me
You workers of iniquity
You demons who on the daily
Tempt me
Taunt me
Whatever it takes to hinder me
My Lord has heard the voice
Of my weeping

In His word I’ll be trusting

When I cry out
She comforts me
For it is not easy
And when I fall
I’ll Get back up
And sometimes it’s ten steps
Some days it is one
As long as it’s forward
Towards the kingdom of heaven
I’ll be glad in it
I’ll have joy in it
There will be peace in it
For it is not easy
To walk that narrow way
But I’ll continue to walk
Humbly
Faithfully
