My body will die
But my soul will never perish
If I am counted among the wise
If I am redeemed as one of the righteous
What is waiting for me
When I close my eyes
For my final sleep
On this temporary earth
Is eternal life
With Christ our Lord
If when judgment comes
I please my Lord
The Most High God
This is my goal
My mode of operation
The reason I stay moving
Regardless of how I am feeling
Because I know
That all things will make sense
I will gain that understanding
If I am called according
To my purpose
Of The Father in heaven
The kingdom is what I seek
The Most Highs righteousness
Is what I seek
His peace , His joy , His Charity
His satisfaction,
I’m me is what I seek
What I think
When I am about to make decisions
Knowing each one gets me closer to
Life
Or closer to death
For
My body will die
But my soul will never perish
If I am counted among the wise
If I am redeemed as one of the righteous
This is my endgame
This is my mindset
This is my focus
In this imperfect world
As I am for perfection
Through Christ ,
