In the world 

Always working hard 

Week 

After week 

Always missing something 

Even with a dream fulfilled 

A task accomplished

Never satisfied 

Never content 

Until , 

I began 

To ask The Most High God 

To give me what I need 

Even if it’s not what I want 

Show me His way 

The way to His heart 

And He showed me the old testament 

And showed me His laws 

Taught me what His love was 

Showed me the Sabbath 

And showed me how to rest 

In Genesis 

For even as a Christian 

Always working hard 

Week 

After week 

Always missing something 

Even with a purpose  fulfilled 

A mission accomplished

Never satisfied 

Never content 

Until I humbled myself 

And repented 

To The Most High God 

For I strived to be a servant 

Like Martha 

I forgot to lay at His feet 

Like Mary 

For we need a balance of the two 

And 

Always be  hungry and   

Always be  thirsty for

 His 

Righteousness

Faithfully
