I believe 

Anyone can change 

(If they want to)

I believe no matter what I’ve done 

I can be forgiven 

(If I walk in your truth)

I believe 

Mountains can move 

I believe oceans can part 

I believe grounds can open up

And swallow people up 

So why is it so  hard to believe 

That you can hear me 

That you know each and every 

One of my sufferings 

Why is it hard to remember 

That you have a plan 

So hold in my anger 

And trust in your heart 

When I don’t see your hands 

For you say 

We can have this confidence

That if we ask according to your will

You will hear us

And if we know this 

That you hear us 

Whatever we ask 

Then we will have the answers

We desired of you

Because we wanted 

What you wanted for us too 

Oh I believe in many things 

I believe only though Christ 

We can be saved 

I believe , there will be judgment day 

Until then 

I pray , and I believe 

Anyone can change (if they want to)

I believe oceans can part 

And mountains can move 

But why is it so hard to believe 

That even these trials 

Are going to work for me 

That even the ones who hurt me 

They are part of the bigger plan 

Of peace and goodness

You have for me 

Oh my Father in heaven 

I only want your will for me 

I ask for your will 

For me

To be done for me 

Whatever that may be 

And the joy and the understanding 

And peace 

With the answers I seek 

According to your will 

For it is in you and your word 

I believe
