I look forward

To the sabbath 

Happy hour 

Clubs 

Pleasing the flesh 

The world can have it 

I will be resting 

On this day set aside 

For resting

For it is a blessing 

To observe sabbath 

All the worries 

All the burdens 

All the stress of this world 

I give them to you 

Father in heaven 

Please have them 

And replace them 

With your fruits of the spirit 

And discipline correction 

So that I can walk again in 

Perfection 

For I know this life 

Is full of long suffering 

But also full of peace 

And joy 

And I am so grateful

We can have it 

And keep it 

And grow it 

As long as we endure 

And keep going 

And continue to
