For I see correction 

As a blessing 

A loss 

Is a lesson 

Wisdom 

Is not for the wise 

But those willing to admit 

They have much to learn 

For I was dumb 

My heart was numb 

But then you came to me 

Oh God Almighty 

And you shined the light 

Into my night 

Showed me what’s wrong 

Showed me what’s right 

And like Gold 

Are your proverbs 

Like an ornament of fine Gold 

Are your commandments 

To this ear that seeks to be

This heart that wants to receive
