Beloved 

It’s that time again 

To rest in you

More than just a little bit 

I know I rest

In you everyday 

But once a week 

I get to rest in 

You all day 

This promise 

Even if it wasnt a 

 covenant 

Or  commandment 

I would do it 

Because it has its 

Benefits

It makes me more like Christ 

Helps preserve my light 

Brings balance 

To my life 

And pleases you Most High 

Oh yes 

This promise

I am so grateful  

That you established it 

This Holy Day 

That is once a week 

All day 

I get to rest in you all day 

Not just a little bit 

Oh it’s that time again 

Sabbath 

I get to rest
