The world says I should be like you 

Do what you do 

React like you 

Pray like you 

Serve like you 

Love like you , 

But you say 

Be like The Father in heaven 

Be perfect 

Like Him, 

So to be like you 

I must be like Him 

The Father in heaven 

And love what He loves 

Hate what He hates 

Be like His Son 

For you both are on the same page ,

Old testament 

New testament 

Both are relevant 

Christ 

And the Father in heaven 

Are both present 

In the old testament 

New testament 

So I will learn from both 

On my journey to 

Perfection 

For Christ
