In my own eyes
In my own mind
I can justify
But it won’t suffice
I don’t seek to be right
I seek to be wise
So I hearken unto
The counsels
From up high
Heavenly Father
Christ
Holy Spirit
There is not a decision
That I make
Without them
In it
There is no opinion
I possess
Without their influence
I build my life
Around them
Precept by precept
Listening to 
Commandment
After commandment
Father
Mother
Brothers
Elders
Deacons
Leaders
Teachers
Sisters
Seasoned women
That are filled
With the spirit
Unto them I hearken
So I am always learning
Knowing if I continue
In my own way
I won’t just be hurting
But I’ll be burning
Oh but the main reason
I seek their assistance
Is because I believe
There is no other way
But through The Most Highs grace
through Christ and His
Righteousness
To salvation
(With)Faithfull 
Cheerfull
Obedience
So I do my best
To purpose my soul
And with all of my mind
walk in Christ’s foot steps
For
In my own eyes
In my own mind
I can justify
