Proverbs 15:8 KJV — 

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Most High : but the prayer of the upright is His delight.

Oh Most High 

There is a question 

On my mind 

Do I bring you 

Delight ? 

Have my thoughts 

Been upright ? 

Do you even hear me lately ? 

Or are my prayers being hindered 

By my  iniquities? 

I know it pains me 

To ask you 

But I must , because I want to 

Reflect …

If needed 

Repent 

And come to you again 

As a child 

Receive my correction 

And purpose my soul 

To sin no more 

And walk in your righteousness 

For trials and tribulations 

Have filled these years , I’ve been living 

But to you I’ve been cleaving 

In your word (Christ)

I’ve been praying 

To your Holy Spirit 

Listening , I am trying 

But when I read this precept 

I can’t help but confess 

That I could always be better 

I hope you see better in me 

Than I see in myself 

I have hope that you see 

The Love I have for you , 

Is above anyone or anything else 

Oh Most High 

There is a question 

On my mind 

Do I bring you 

Delight ? 

Have my thoughts 

Been upright ? 

Do you even hear me lately ? 

As I ask these questions 

I can feel your answers 

You hear me 

 You see me 

 Keep enduring 

 Keep reflecting 

Keep repenting 

Keep loving 

Tears flood my eyes 

And these questions 

Leave my mind 

And your peace 

Resides 

In this heart of mine 

Faithfully
