Sabbath

Proverbs 17:22 KJV — A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.💙

Today 

Is the day 

I wait for 

Weekly 

This day 

I prayed for 

Unknowingly 

Each time I prayed 

For a day to rest

Each time I prayed

For the time to reflect 

Each time I prayed

For balance 

For discipline 

Time more to spend with you 

Father , I feel silly 

That’s the truth 

Because you already 

Got me 

Since Genesis 

You made this day Holy 

Sabbath 

Was what I prayed for 

What I yearned  for 

Unknowingly 

For this day brings joy to my soul 

That I longed for 

Like medicine for the spirit 

Is what we receive 

When we stay obedient 

To the Sabbath 

This joy you get from being 

Submissive to 

The Father in heaven 

Only one who has felt it can 

Know the difference 

For we all have experienced 

The broken spirit 

And the dry bones 

But when the light turns on 

And we learn true love 

And to our once simple mind

Knowledge comes 

The veil is removed 

We get the truth 

About the Sabbath 

Your covenant 

And how it is still relevant 

Now I know this truth 

I won’t ever cease 

To keep 

This Day Holy 

To celebrate 

This day 

And be like you 

Oh God Almighty 

To be aligned with you 

And the heavenlies 

I love Sabbath 

And keep this commandment 

Cheerfully 

Humbly 

Diligently 

And prayerfully 

With you 

Father in heaven , Ahayah 

Eternally 

Faithfully
