Ecclesiasticus 2:1

[1]My son, if thou come to serve The Most High God , prepare thy soul for temptation.💕

Oh Father in heaven 

I have set my mind 

I have purposed my heart 

I have prepared thy soul 

For temptation, my Lord 

I have girded my loins 

I have picked up my sword 

I have opened my eyes 

To see the temptation , my Lord 

For those who fear you 

Will not disobey your truth 

We that love you 

Not only give you praise 

But keep your ways 

For those that love you 

We seek to please you 

We are filled with the law 

In your sight we humble our souls 

And cleave to you 

Cleave to your truth 

Like gold I pray we only 

Get better with adversity 

Trusting you 

And believing 

You will help us 

And want to give us 

Compassion and mercy 

Though we are not worthy 

If we walk in Christ 

It is His light in us you see 

And it is that light 

That will cleanse us from 

Our iniquity, so 

I have set my mind 

I have purposed my heart 

I have prepared thy soul 

For temptation, my Lord 

I have girded my loins 

I have picked up my sword 

I have opened my eyes 

To see the temptation , my Lord

For the more that I desire to 

Please you 

The more the enemy desires 

To tempt me 

I know this surely 

But I trust you Most High God

 in all things 

Especially 

Through temptations 

And adversity 

I will have patience 

Knowing you will come to 

My safety 

In your perfect

Timing 

Until then , 

I will keep loving you 

I will keep fearing you 

I will keep serving you 

With cheerfulness 

In my patience 

With no hesitation 

Preparing my soul 

To with your sword of truth 

Defeat 

Temptation 

Faithfully
