Ecclesiasticus 13:25
[25]The heart of a man changeth his countenance, whether it be for good or evil: and a merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance.💕
If you know me
You know this one fact
I’m not really into eye contact
For the eyes never lie
The words can be the sweetest
Many learn how to manipulate
Body language
I have seen professional pretenders
Live multiple lives
Digging them self deeper in a hole of lies
And everyone believed them , but I
Could see the truth in their eyes
For when we come Into sound doctrine
The Most High gives us discernment
Knowledge and wisdom
To see the light in a person
And their countenance
For when a man’s heart changes
So does His countenance
For once our eyes were dimmed
During the time we were rapant
In sin
But when we came into Christ ,
There was this light
That came to our eyes
And it starts with the mind
Trickles down to the heart
For the first one to see our change
Is our Most High God
And there will be times in this life
When pain will fill our eyes
For being in Christ
Doesn’t mean we don’t face trials
So I pray this prayer
When we are hurt
That we always think of the word
Think of Christ , and let His light
Once again fill our eyes
For that is all we need to change our
Countenance
Is a merry heart , that is filled with precepts ,
So let us think of our Lord
And remain cheerful
For this is what makes us different
Than the rest of this world
That we can find joy ,
Even when we are hurt ,
So even though we are in pain
There is light in our eyes
And that is no lie
Because our heart believes in Christ
He is our light that shines
Even through the temptations and trials
And this is the light that I look for
When I must look in the eyes of the ones I know
We all have good days , and not so good days ,
But if Christ is in our heart
That light , doesn’t change
So if you know me ,
You know this fact ,
I’m not really into eye contact ,
But it’s the only way
To see the truth sometimes ,
What do you see when you
Look into my eyes ?
I pray that you see
Someone who loves to serve
The Lord
Who walks as perfectly as she can with a merry heart
Faithfully
