Ecclesiasticus 26:4

[4]Whether a man be rich or poor, if he have a good heart toward the Lord, he shall at all times rejoice with a cheerful countenance.💕

I’ve had much 

And I have had less in this life 

But still I have been 

Content and satisfied 

For it was not what I held in my pocket 

But inside my heart 

That I valued 

And worked for 

My heart treasures 

The precepts 

Laws and commandments 

Like Gold they measure 

They bring me much pleasure 

To know my Most High God 

Is pleased , to feel a smile on His face 

Gives me peace , and that He 

Set aside these words for us 

That many have come and go 

But the truth , that feeds my soul 

And this word is still for us 

And though religions 

False doctrines they still exist 

Through the guide of The Holy Spirit 

The Bible still makes sense 

Through my fear in the Lord 

I grow in wisdom and knowledge 

So when times get darker and darker 

I rejoice with cheerful countenance

Because I know what is coming 

I know who He is 

The peacemaker with a sword 

And judgement 

And the pennies in my pocket 

Can’t buy me righteousness 

But the contrite heart that I possess 

May be enough on that day 

It is worth more than all that I have in the bank 

Money is a resource 

But it is not the source of our salvation 

And money can not buy joy and peace 

No matter how much you possess 

It can only come with submission 

To The Father in heaven 

And His Son,

And knowing they are one 

And receiving the gift of 

The Holy Spirit 

That gives us sound doctrine 

And teaches us and comforts us 

Regardless of what we got 

For you Father in heaven 

Do not see us as rich or poor 

Based on what  is in  our pockets 

But  what is in our hearts 

So let us fill our hearts with true heavenly treasures 

And delight in them forever 

With a cheerful countenance
