Ecclesiasticus 32:14-17
[14]Whoso feareth the Lord will receive his discipline; and they that seek him early shall find favour.
[15]He that seeketh the law shall be filled therewith: but the hypocrite will be offended thereat.
[16]They that fear the Lord shall find judgment, and shall kindle justice as a light.
[17]A sinful man will not be reproved, but findeth an excuse according to his will.💙


Most High God
Father in heaven

Ahayah
I want to fear you
As much as I want to please you
For having fear of you
Comes with so many benefits
Like knowledge
Understanding
And wisdom
Your discipline
When I wake that very hour
I will seek your power
Not to make me mighty
But to humble me
Before I face this world
Of iniquity
For I know those that seek you early
Find favour
I would settle just to be like
My savior
To suffer for your righteousness
Should be a reward
I pray you build me up in patience
And temperance
So I can endure
I seek your truth
I seek your laws
And your commandments
Fill me I pray
With all of them
Leave no room left
For any lusts of the flesh
For I find no offense in your
Chastisement and rebuke
I am offended by the way I loved you
Before I truly knew how to
For now I know light
Is bright
But it also shines
And exposes those wrongs
That we try to hide
And the brighter we get
The more we can see it
And if we don’t remove it
Then it will grow again
And worse than before
I don’t want excuses
I do not seek to justify my sins
I understand how filthy I was
How filthy I still am
I know the only way to cleanse
Is by the purification of your word
Purge me my  God
Remove all the filth
The wickedness the hindrances
Leave nothing left
But precept on precept
This I pray knowing you will
Answer it
And complete it
Because it is your will I am seeking
Your glory I am seeking
Take this lump of clay
And start kneading
Most High God
