Matthew 9:10 KJV — And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples💕.

About the fable 

Psalm 1:1-2 KJV — Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.💕

About a man named Christ  

Who sat at the sinners table 

It sounded good 

And we want to do as He would 

But the only issue 

Is that wasn’t the  truth 

Christ , was already eating 

When the ungodly  came to Him 

They sat down with  Him 

And He didn’t leave 

For He had a mission 

To make the blind see

And make the sick whole 

To call sinners into repentance 

For they must repent before 

They become the righteous 

So He made Himself low

And became a servant 

Showed mercy 

And ate with them 

That was Christ’s place 

But what is mine ? 

On this narrow way 

As I walk in the light 

For the word says 

A blessed man 

Does not walk in the counsel 

Of the ungodly 

Nor stand in the way of sinners 

Nor sit in the seat of the scornful 

But delights in the law of the Lord 

And night and day, he meditates 

In the law , 

And the law is Christ , 

And this I do with joy 

And cheerfully 

I love the law 

And I know the law is a benefit to me 

So I won’t seek to be 

Where the sinners are 

I won’t tempt myself 

By walking to close to the dark 

Or dancing around the fire 

And presumptuously touching the flame 

I will keep my eyes on the skies 

On this narrow way 

And if someone who is lost 

Somehow finds me , 

I will do as my savior did 

Before me 

Share truth 

Show mercy 

Show compassion 

Give charity 

With discernment 

And humility 

Understanding my lane 

And my calling 

For  though I remember what they told me 

I believe the truth I read ,

Christ , was already eating 

When the ungodly  came to Him 

They sat down with  Him 

And He didn’t leave 

For He had a mission 

To make the blind see

And make the sick whole 

To call sinners into repentance 

For they must repent before 

They become the righteous 

So He made Himself low

And became a servant 

And I too want to be just like Him, 

For He was perfect 

A king of Kings 

And yet He came to earth 

To serve and get a fleshly death 

He didn’t deserve 

This is the word 

The truth I will share 

The love I will show 

When the ungodly come around me 

I will be brave 

And pray I be the light of Christ they see 

While I walk down this narrow road
