2 Samuel 22:29 KJV — For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

I need not be afraid 

Of the troubles that come my way 

Of the darkness 

That surrounds me 

For the same God 

That created the  darkness 

Created me 

And He tells me I am  more than able 

Of lighting up the darkest night 

He says within me 

There is a bright light 

As long as I hold on to Christ 

The flame within my heart 

Will ignite

And as I to The Most High cleave

The devil has no choice but  to flee

So I will not grow weary 

In Christ

And The Most High 

 I am strong 

So there is no need 

To hide or 

To be afraid 

Of the troubles that come my way 

Of the darkness 

That surrounds me 

For the same God 

That created the  darkness 

Created me 

And He will lighten the darkness 

Within in 

So that I may see the light in the darkness around me 

And be a bright light 

For those who are around me 

Sharing the love 

That The Father in heaven gives to me  abundantly
