Revelation 2:5 KJV —

Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.💕


Wanting to be like the
Philadelphia and the Smyrna
Church
Let me hold onto these words
And remember my first works
Let this precept penetrate my spirit
As I seek to repent
Of any darkness that may be hidden
In my heart or head ,
For I don’t want to fall anywhere but
Into Your mercy
Please do not take this candlestick within me
I will come to You, before You must come to me
On my knees humbly, repenting
Begging for transformation
For I remember the God that You are
Father in heaven ,
A forgiving God
A merciful God, a loving God, also a terrible God ,
And so is Your Son,
And I won’t forget all that You have done ,
So I  will keep pushing forward in this fire
Until all of my iniquity is burned within the flames
And I come out purified , and fervent in faith
Because I want to be like the
Philadelphia and Smyrna Saints ,
Pleasing You in all of my ways
Meditating on Your word,
Remembering all of Your works
Remembering my first works
For You remain the same , You do not ever change
Neither will my prayers , neither will my praise
Let them strengthen my flame , each and everyday
As I build my house on Your precepts
Remembering them, remembering your word
Remembering your works, remembering my first works ,
Not just to have a pleasant  memory
but to execute them daily
