Proverbs 15:8 KJV — The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

To think
No matter how hard I tried
When I was wicked
My sacrifices
Never sufficed
But now I do better
Because now I know better
And I have every intention
To no longer be to you an
Abomination,
I offer with a contrite heart
my humble repentance
Seeking Your kingdom of heaven
Seeking Your righteousness
Through my faith in Your Son Christ
Growing to be upright
Lifting my prayers High
To You my keeper in the sky
Praying that these prayers , Psalms
Poems are to You a delight
Praying that submitting to Your will
Will suffice
And give You a smile
To see another obedient child
I pray You delight in me
As I delight in You
Like I delight in Your wisdom and truth
For now I do better
Because now I know better
And I am zealous my Lord
To be transformed
For I know if I am wicked
No matter how hard I try
My sacrifices won’t suffice
For You define what is wicked
You establish the upright
We are molded through adversity
Purified through the fire
We are perfected through our long-suffering
As we endure temptations and trials
Refusing to lose hope
Refusing to lose strength
We lift up our prayers to You Most High
Praying they fill You with delight
