1 Samuel 15:22

[22]And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.💕

I would lay down my life 

If that’s what would bring 

You delight 

I would bring to You  a lamb for 

An offering 

But it would do nothing for me 

Because You brought the lamb 

That died for me 

His obedience to You 

Is what saved me 

And gave me 

The liberty , to repent 

And reconcile with You , Most High 

For obedience is better 

Than sacrifice , 

And for me to obey Your voice 

Brings You great delight 

So let me prepare daily my offering 

Of my life to You, my Body 

Let it be perfect , let it be holy 

For I would lay down my life 

If it would bring You delight 

But instead Father in heaven 

You ask for a heart that is contrite and broken 

For ears that unto You will hearken 

And for a spirit and hands that are  obedient 

So here are my sacrifices  Father in heaven 

Please receive them 

And be pleased 

Eternally
