Deuteronomy 5:12 KJV —

Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.


💙-A gift Everlasting -💙
There are some in this life
Who may think sabbath
Is a sacrifice
But not I
I look forward to the day
That I can with fervent faith
And abundant grace
Let go of the struggles I endure
And the tribulations I face,  and rest
In body mind and spirit
Reflecting , Repenting , Replenishing
As you renew my spirit
Rejoice my heart
And reaffirm my faith with
Blessed assurance
As I fellowship with my brethren
And You, Father , Son Holy Spirit
Offering to You
Many prayers and praises
On one accord
We come , lifting hymns & psalms
To You Most High , This Sabbath Night
Being grateful for this commandment
This law that gives us light
Though there are some in this life
Who may think it is a sacrifice
It is not I,
I see it for what it is , a gift , a precious gift
A resource, that strengthens my relationships and
        A promise
                         I will keep , everlasting
