Only Imagine (Poem) – Feast of Unleavened Bread Collection

1 Peter 1:18-19

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot..💕

I can only imagine By: Dayanah Ahmawanah💕

I can only imagine
Knowing my end
Knowing what to expect
Nails in my hands
Nails in my feet
Thorns on my head
For others iniquities
But still
You took that walk of shame
Carrying all of my blame
With Your fervent faith
You were a brave lion
Becoming the lamb that was slain
So that we could through You
Be saved
Let Your sacrifice not Passover our mind
Let your offering not Passover our hearts
Let us remember what have You done for us
Let us remember what Ahayah has given for us
His perfect begotten Son,
He watched him bleed
He watched him beaten
He watched him taunted
But through His death , we were liberated
Imagine though being the parent
That has all the power to protect your children
But must watch the perfect ones body be broken
Though Ahayah saw what we can not always see
The spirit of His Son, that stayed perfect and in peace
This Spirit He protected and
When His mission was accomplished
This Spirit returned to Him
So let us , do this , take our beatings
Take our long-suffering
Endure each trial and tribulation
With a sober peaceful mind
And joyful spirit
Knowing our bodies break
But no one can break our spirit
If we cleave To, The Most High King
Take upon Yashaya’s spirit
And follow Him straightly
For we can only imagine
What He had to endure in
This cruel cold world
So that through Him we could be saved
A brave lion , becoming the lamb that was slain
So that we could walk in fervent faith
He took that walk of shame
Carrying all of my blame
Submitting to the will of The Father in heaven
Knowing this Death was needed
So that we could be liberated ,
And have redemption for our transgressions
So that we could receive the gift
That would help us
Comfort us
And teach us ,
To be like the brave lamb and courageous like the lion ,
That died for us
The lambs that were spotted
And be meek and humble like the lamb
That died for us
So that through His death and resurrection we can be spotless
Faithfully 💕
