Matthew 14:31

And immediately Christ  stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Oh how I am grateful 

That You caught me 

You didn’t let me fall 

Perpetually 

But Christ , 

I understand this very thing 

If my faith wasn’t so small 

You would have walked by my side on the tide 

Instead You had to carry me 

Through this trial 

I pray for the day 

That I am brave 

Enough to walk on the waves 

And not let my thoughts sway 

Me , 

Looking down instead up at You my King 

I don’t know why I doubted then 

But I don’t want to doubt now 

I lay all my fears down 

At The Most Highs feet 

And take upon a sound mind 

Of sobriety 

Charity and Peace 

For I am so grateful for the hands 

That I don’t see 

The hands that work for me 

Even when I didn’t believe 

But I no longer want to be the Thomas 

That needs to see the hands 

I want to be the one who trusts 

The Most High God 

Regardless if I don’t understand 

Because I understand this very thing 

If I faint in the day of adversity 

My strength is small 

But how can it be small, if my Lord is big 

And His grace is endless 

And through His Son, nothing is an impossibility 

So I will continue to get back up 

And walk upon the sea 

For today is the day 

That I will be brave 

Enough to walk on the waves 

And not let my thoughts sway 

Me , 

I am looking up at You my King 

Your Kingdom I do seek  

I don’t know why I doubted then 

But I don’t  doubt now 

I lay all my fears down 

At The Most Highs feet 

And take upon a sound mind 

Of sobriety , charity and Peace 

For I am so grateful for the hands 

That I don’t see 

The hands that work for me 

I have faith in what I can not see 

For it is that very power that 

Is saving me

And I know my Lord , 

That you can  calm  the storm 

But I’ll pray for the strength to walk through it 

I know that You can brighten this night 

But I just pray for sight to see the light in the darkness 

For the change I want to see , I want it inside of me 

So that I can change the world around me 

And see this world like You see 

And be a living testimony 

Giving You the Glory
