1 Corinthians 8:9- Liberty – Poem Devotional 4/11/25

đź’™1 Corinthians 8:9

But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

Forgive me

If I have ever used

My liberty

To make you

Feel inferior

Or weak

That’s never what I mean

Forgive me

If I have ever been a stumblingblock

Instead of pushing you towards The Most High God

For though sometimes I have failed

My intention was always love

For it is not my job

To condemn You

Or shame you

But love You

And encourage you

And pray that You

Grow in knowledge

And embrace this liberty to

And know how free

You truly are

So You can know how loved You really are

So believe me when I say this from my heart

Forgive me

If I have ever used

My liberty

To make you

Feel inferior

Or weak

If I have ever been a stumblingblock

Instead of pushing you towards The Most High God

For though sometimes I have failed

My intention was always love

And as long as I breathe

I will aim to achieve

To receive

That perfect love inside of me

So that I can love You

Too

Diligently

Perfectly

Faithfully
