John 8:36

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.


I am a seed of Abraham
A peculiar
Fearfully made
Daughter of Israel
Yet that doesn’t mean a thing
If at the end of my life
I chose to stay in my captivity
And not choose the path of Liberty
For Christ set me free
But I have to believe it
To receive it
For He has set me free
Free indeed
Free from the mental and spiritual slavery
And even if the enemy oppresses me
I know my spirit it can’t touch
For it is free
And I know The Most High
Has me on His mind
He has plans for me
He hears me when I pray
Gives me power to slay
Gives me the words to say
Gives me strength to wait
Gives me courage to be
brave and come upon the waves
With fervent faith
For our Lord , will never
Forsake me  or  neglect
To give me what I need , and add to it
I  have so much  more serving Him
Than I  had being free in Sin
For even though I thought I was serving me
I was serving Satan through my iniquity
But through Yashaya now I am free
In this land of captivity
So free I am
And though I am
A servant of The Most High King
I feel like royalty
Following His Son , who has set me free
To seek The will of the Lord
And desire to fulfill it
I continue in His word
The path laid before me
That keeps me in constant joy
And perfect peace
For Christ is the way
The life
And the truth
Who has set me free
Free to see what others can not see
Free to trust a God I can not see
Free to choose humility
Free to forgive easily
Free to praise and to sing songs of thanksgiving
Free to have a sound mind of sobriety
Free to pray without cease
Free to let go
Free to hold on tightly
Free to follow Christ , and let You , Ahayah lead me
Free to give all of me , with no regrets
Because I am free to trust You Father in heaven
Free to die for You
Free to live for You
Free to write for You
Free to write poems filled with your goodness
Free to choose repentance
Free to be forgiven
Free to strive for perfection
And return to my Almighty
Who loves me
And has been waiting patiently
Before I even had a chance to breathe
He has been waiting for me
To come through His Son
The new covenant
For I am a

For true freedom is not in the flesh
But the spirit
And only through Christ can we receive it
The eternal Liberty
For Christ set me free
But I have to believe it
To receive it
And I believe it , I proclaim it
I will share the truth to anyone who will hear it
And in my countenance see it
With the works of my hands I will prove it ,
That I am free ,
