Baruch 2:31-32
And shall know that I am the Lord their God: for I will give them an heart, and ears to hear:
And they shall praise me in the land of their captivity, and think upon my name, Ahayah 🥰
I always knew
Something was missing
I couldn’t find it
In anyone or anything
I heard the stories
The testimonies
But it wasn’t until
I came wanting
Nothing more
Than to know You more
That You met me my Lord
And gave me a new heart
And gave me ears to hear
You gave me a new name
Saying I am no longer a sinner
I am a repenter ,
Who walks by faith
Believes she can be saved
So in this land of my captivity
I give You praise
I will worship You , and praise Your name
As I endure this pain
For though long is my suffering
It is nothing compared to Eternity
That I will spend with you My King
So I will never cease to pray
give You praise
And think Upon Your name
Ahayah, The Great I am
For through Your Son I am forgiven
And given a new covenant
And though I deserve destruction
You said I can see the promise the land
Though I deserve to be stoned
You instead , take me by the hand
And bring me through all trials and tribulations
And give me a new heart and fill it with all your fruits of righteousness
And you give me ears to hear,
The spirit of discipline to listen
To Your laws and commandments
And a desire to execute them
With a joy and gladness
For You have given me a new name
I no longer am called a sinner
I am a repenter , who walks by faith
Believing I can be saved
For
With my heart I believe
With my mouth I confess
That I believe in Christ
That He rose from the dead
And receive the new coventant
With passionate praise
Thinking upon Your name
The Great I am
Ahayah
Who
Each day
Leads me on that narrow way
By the hand and the heart
Making me brave
Faithfully
