Ecclesiasticus 6:37
Let thy mind be upon the ordinances of the Lord and meditate continually in His commandments: He shall establish thine heart, and give thee wisdom at thine owns desire.
All the day long
My mind is on your ordinances
my Lord
Delighting in Your word
And though sometimes
There is hurt
When I have a growth spurt
On Your commandments
I will continually meditate
From this discipline I will not
deviate
trusting my heart You have established and
at my own desire wisdom You giveth,
For Your wisdom I appreciate
And will not leave her waiting at the gate
But meet her early each day
As she teaches me, how to praise ,
how to pray, what to say
To in Your grace stay
And demons slay
For You have given her the liberty
To teach me and guide me in all things
Like she guided all the prophets and Christ before me
So I will cheerfully
Receive her discipline humbly
Knowing the pain in my flesh
Brings eternal benefits
For I understand
There are trials , temptations and tribulations in this life
But there is also peace
Joy and light,
That You give and it never runs dry
As long as I keep my mind
On You Most High
And that gives me the strength
To endure this fight
And not only survive
But thrive ,
Because in the darkness You hide
Not because You are afraid
But because You give us grace
As You wait
For us to return to You
And repent
And remember
That from You father
Comes true love
That’s why
All the day long
