Day 1 – Proverbs 1

   

Fear of the Lord 💕

Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.


Precept upon Precept
Your word enters my ear
And upon my heart
So I tremble with
Fervent
And terrible fear
For The Fear of the Lord
Is the begining of knowledge
But fools despise wisdom
And instructions
And no longer do I want to be
A fool in this life
But a virtuous woman
Who is wise
Please teach me Father
Guide these thoughts
So they only wander
On the pages of Your Word
For I will hear the instructions of my Father
I wont forsake the laws of my mother
But instead be grateful
For all that I know
Walk in Your truth
And let it in my heart grow
So that I may sin no more
But cheerfully learn
Precept upon Precept

But me I treasure Your wisdom
I delight in Your instructions
Finding joy and freeedom in Your Commandments
Knowing they are only for my benefit
As I grow to be a
virtuous
